Dale Wasserman, Mitch Leigh and Joe Darion's brilliant and moving "Impossible Dream" musical about Don Quixote. When Miguel Cervantes is summoned before the Spanish Inquisition, fellow prisoners threaten to destroy his manuscript about the famed knight errant. To prove its worth, he and his manservant cast the prisoners themselves into the story and stage the quixotic tale.
